Australia
British citizens travel on the ETA (subclass 601), applied for via the official Australian ETA app for a AUD $20 service charge. The subclass 600 Visitor visa (from AUD $200 offshore) is for UK residents whose passport isn't eligible for the ETA.
Canada
British citizens flying to Canada usually need only an eTA (CAD $7), not a visitor visa. A Temporary Resident Visa is for UK residents whose nationality requires one.
Indonesia
British citizens don't need a full visa for tourism — you get a Visa on Arrival, or buy the e-VoA online before you fly. It's valid 30 days and extendable once.
New Zealand
British citizens don't need a visa — you travel on the NZeTA (an electronic travel authority) plus the International Visitor Levy. A visa is only needed for longer or non-tourist stays.
Sri Lanka
British citizens get a free 30-day tourist ETA — there's no government visa fee. You still need to apply for the ETA online before you travel.
United States
British citizens normally travel to the US on an ESTA (visa-waiver, currently $21) and do not need a B1/B2 visa. A B1/B2 visa is for UK residents who aren't eligible for ESTA.
