Morocco eVisa for Indians (2026): You Qualify by Nationality, No Schengen Visa Needed

Persistent myth: that Indians need a Schengen or US visa to get Morocco's eVisa. Not true. India is on the eVisa list by nationality alone (Category A on the official acces-maroc.ma portal): 770 MAD standard (3 business days) or 1,100 MAD express (24 hours), single entry, 30-day stay, valid 180 days from issue.

What the portal wants

• Colour photo 35x45mm taken within 6 months
• Clear colour copy of your passport (valid 90+ days from application), ordinary passports only
• Files as JPG or PDF, maximum 1 MB each: the spec that trips most people
• Card payment to Morocco's treasury gateway

No bank statements, no ITR, no employment letters at application. But carry to the border: your return ticket, proof of funds (an international bank card, or the equivalent of EUR 70 per day in cash) and hospital/repatriation insurance.

The rule to respect: nothing is refunded

The portal's validation step is irreversible, and paid applications are never refunded, including refusals. The file has to be right the first time, which is precisely the part Visank does for a living.

Other routes

UK residents of any visa-required nationality qualify via their residence permit (valid 180+ days). Holders of a multiple-entry US, UK, Schengen, Irish, Japanese, Canadian, Australian, Norwegian or NZ visa with 90+ days validity also qualify. British and most EU citizens don't need any visa at all.
