Kazakhstan Is Visa-Free for Indians (2026): 14 Days, Just Your Passport

Yes, it's real and still in force: Indian citizens enter Kazakhstan visa-free for 14 days per trip, for tourism, business or private visits, up to 42 days total in any 180-day period. A valid passport is genuinely all you carry. UK and EU passports get 30 days.

The two rules behind the headline

• Your host must register you. Within 3 working days of arrival, your hotel or host notifies the migration service. Hotels do this automatically; private hosts often forget, and the fine lands on them.
• Don't overstay. Up to 3 days late is a warning; beyond that the fines climb and can end in deportation. We track your dates.

QazETA: the new pre-arrival step

Kazakhstan is piloting QazETA, an electronic travel authorisation for visa-free nationals: apply at least 72 hours before travel, valid 180 days. It is recommended today and will be made mandatory in phases. Visank files it as part of every Kazakhstan booking so the switch never catches you.

Staying longer than 14 days

The tourist eVisa (B12, USD 60, 5 working days) covers 30-day stays, but it requires an electronic invitation from a Kazakh host issued through the interior ministry, and eVisa holders can enter and exit only via international airports.
